SVE Residents,

The HOA office has received word that pesky solicitors are beginning to increase their visits to our community and are leaving flyers at doors, trash cans, and garages. This is a reminder that Sunland Village East is a no-soliciting neighborhood, and the HOA office is proactive in addressing and mitigating advertisers. Door-to-door sales and advertising are prohibited in our community.

What can you do to help us keep solicitating at a minimum?

▪ If the solicitor makes contact with you, remind them we are a no soliciting neighborhood, and it is not welcome here.
▪ If you see a solicitor but do not want to make contact personally, take down any identifiable information of their company (shirt color/logo, car advertisement) and alert the office.
▪ If the solicitor leaves a flyer, bring a copy to the HOA office for our records and we can alert them their advertising is not welcome here.

If the solicitor is offering services that you would like to engage with, ensure you do research of the validity of the company and check that they have proper licensing/permit. A good indicator of the validity of the business is if they are posting their contact information on their advertisement. When in doubt, check with the BBB online or by calling them at 877-291-6222.
